Sports fans will love these valuable, autographed memorabilia items (hat and magazine) from the UF Gators' national championship baseball team, which included Michael Byrne, an All-American who holds the UF record for most saves in a single season (19) and most career saves (36). He was drafted in 2018 by the Cincinnati Reds. Thanks to GHS alumni Rita Hardy Byrne, Michael's mom, who donated these items. Michael signed the official locker room cap. UNIQUE GROVELAND ART!
GHS grads will be inspired by these beautiful, framed watercolor paintings by GHS alumni David Campos. Bid on either of these matted and framed Giclee limited edition prints. The painting on the left is the Groveland Auditorium, which was the "walk-in" movie theater until it was demolished in the 1960s. The painting on the right is a true-to-life rendering of First Baptist Church in Groveland, as it looked in the 1960s. The church continues to serve at its location across the street from the former Groveland High School.
GHS alumni Dan Michele created this one-of-a-kind replica of an orange crate, once a staple seen around Groveland. It measures 24" x 10" x 10" and can be used for storage or stood on end for an end table. Or as Dan says, "If things get bad, you can go out and pick fruit to go in it!" Suggested starting bid: $30.
The end reads: GROVELAND GREENBACKS and in the center, GROVELAND, FLA.
Talented GHS alumni and artist Carl Pendergrass is donating this amazing fountain from his Chattanooga studio, Carl's Copper, which has been featured on TV. Carl's copper sculptures have been featured in businesses and hotels, as well as many homes and gardens.
